August 28th is also Rosh Hodesh Elul- The New year for Animals. While pets are not allowed on the museum grounds, you are invited to bring a picture of the furriest member(s) of your family to post with everyone else’s! Rabba Kaya will be leading a special blessing for animals and would welcome as many pictures as possible.
