Temple Israel welcomes you to join us in prayer, in song and in celebration of Jewish community.

We are an egalitarian Conservative congregation, and together we celebrate our wealth of holidays, life-cycle events and the weekly gift of Shabbat. Services at Temple Israel are warm and communal, conducted by our rabbi and members of our congregation.

Our congregation loves to sing, enjoying a mix of old and new settings of the traditional Hebrew prayers. Our many members who are not fluent Hebrew readers find that they have ample opportunities to learn and participate. The “Lev Shalem” prayer book includes inspiring English readings alongside the Hebrew prayers, as well as translations, transliterations and thought-provoking explanations.

Our Shabbat services take place in our sanctuary and are also accessed on Zoom, with the Zoom link supplied to visitors upon request via email. Our Tuesday afternoon minyan is Zoom only.

Visitors are always welcome at Temple Israel, but we strongly encourage visitors to contact the temple office before Shabbat to ensure admission to services or holiday observances.
